Warnings
  • Read, understand and follow all warnings and instructions before operating testers.
  • Before each use, verify the tester operation by testing on a known live and correctly-wired receptacle and circuit
  • DO NOT use if the tester appears damaged in any way.
  • Always consult a qualified electrician to resolve wiring problems. ALWAYS adhere to local and national safety codes.
  • NEVER use the tester on a circuit with voltages that exceed the category-based rating of this tester.
  • Inspect the meter and test leads before use. DO NOT use if they appear damaged.
  • DO NOT use testers during electrical storms or in wet weather.
  • Turn off testers and disconnect test leads before attempting to replace batteries or fuses.
  • Use personal protective equipment to prevent shock and arc blast injuries where hazardous live conductors are exposed.
