Non Contact Voltage Tester
Klein Tools NCVT-1
Identification: This recall covers NCVT-1 products bearing a date code ending in H7, which can be found on the side of the NCVT-1 opposite the clip. The affected items were sold between September 2020 - April 2021.
Defect: the tip of the tool remains illuminated in green when the on/off button is depressed.
Hazard: if the button remains depressed during the power on or power off cycle, the tip of the tool remains illuminated in green, indicating the tool is “ready to detect voltage,” when it is not.
What to do: Consumers should immediately stop using the voltage tester and contact Klein Tools Australia to arrange a replacement.
